About Us
I would like to introduce myself as a patient-focused family dentist that is hoping to continue on the legacy of Dr. Ron Walsh in Victoria BC. My name is Dr. Paul Neate; I was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Victoria in 2007 in order to practice clinical dentistry.
Upon graduation from dental school, I joined the Canadian Forces in order to gain experience and to provide comprehensive care to Canada's military members. During my time serving at CFB Esquimalt, I was very lucky to undertake many advanced courses, including advanced studies in oral surgery and endodontics. Also during this time, I was very fortunate to have travelled aboard the HMCS Protecteur on several deployments which included Central and South America.
As my career progressed, my love of Vancouver Island made me realize that this area is truly my home. In the spring of 2013 I was released from the military in order to begin my search for an ideal practice to call my own.
I am a family practice oriented dentist who takes a lot of pride in my work and my ability to care for my patients. I focus on trust and patient education, because it is important to me that you fully understand your oral healthcare, no matter which doctor provides your care. I am truly excited to continue the excellence of care that Dr. Walsh has built into this practice over the years. It is my hope that I can become the key care provider for the families and individuals of Victoria, British Columbia.
As a side note, I am an active athlete who maintains a focus on personal training. I love spending time with my dog Bailey (notably at Windsor Park) and with my friends. I am a nature enthusiast who devotes a lot of time seeing the beautiful scenery of our wonderful island.
Thank you,
Dr. Paul C. Neate
